Our media crew ensures that our website is always up-to-date, writes news articles, sends out press releases, captures the Veko mood, updates social media, and ensures that all national and international press gets the information they need.
The media crew consists of many people with different skills and is required to work from Thursday, 22 June, to Sunday, 2 July 2023. The first three days are the training days. After the training days, we meet at 19:30 in our Media room every day to plan the next day and look at the progress. After our meetings in the evening, we walk over to the festival arena.
If you want to start earlier and help out in the planning and execution, please let us know! We appreciate all help we can get.
Equipment
All media team members are asked to bring their own equipment they think is necessary to do a good job. The media team will have a separate room where you can lock and charge your equipment. The same room can be used for editing your photos and uploading them.
Transport
We encourage you to bring your own car, making getting around to the different locations easier. If you have your car, Ekstremsportveko will pay for the fuel for all your driving necessary during the week.
Volunteer benefits
Since this is a crew with more responsibility, you also get other volunteer benefits than other volunteers. You get accommodation for the whole stay (NB! you will need to share a room with another media team member). For those who stay where we arrange accommodation, you will get breakfast and at breakfast, make a packed lunch every day from the breakfast buffet. You get dinner in the volunteer tent down by the festival area.

Create engaging posts with necessary and relevant information, and ensure that our audience gets quick answers at all times. Needs to be able to edit text, photos, and video.
STORY AND LIVE PRODUCTION EDITORS
Produce engaging and relevant stories for our audience on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and Snapchat. Needs to be able to edit text, photos, and video.

Research, execute, write, edit, and produce articles to ensure that all national and international press gets the information they need.
