This is how Olaf Obsommer and Jens Klatt describe Voss as a kayaking destination in the guide book "Norway - The Whitewater Guide".
In the past 15 years Voss has become a popular and famous destination for national and international kayakers. The reason for this is that Voss offers a wide range of excellent and crystal clear rivers for kayakers at all levels. Novice kayakers can enjoy superb class 1-3 rivers and advanced kayakers can choose between a great range of challenging white water.
