Kayaking
¨Every sport has its Mecca. Extreme skiers go to Chamonix, free climbers to Yosemite Valley, mountain bikers to Lake Garda. And whitewater paddlers? We would like to nominate the wee Norwegian town of Voss as the next cult sport centre.¨ This is how Olaf Obsommer and Jens Klatt describe Voss as a kayaking destination in the guide book ¨Norway - The Whitewater Guide¨.
In the past 15 years Voss has become a popular and famous destination for national and international kayakers. The reason for this is that Voss offers a wide range of excellent and crystal clear rivers for kayakers at all levels. Novice kayakers can enjoy superb class 1-3 rivers and advanced kayakers can choose between a great range of challenging white water.

Please note that you have to register prior to the competition/activity and it´s YOUR responsibility to be at the registration office during opening hours (from 09.00 - 21.00, festival tent). To be a part of the organized activities at Ekstremsportveko you must have the wristband that indicates you´re an athlete.
