The Viking of Vikafjellet is cancelled

The Big Air competition Viking of Vikafjellet is unfortunately cancelled due to lack of snow. Some of the invited riders will instead have a Big Air Session at Folgefonna. Also, the skiing part of the multisport competition Horgi ned is cancelled.

We have been working hard to get this event ready for action, but because of the warm and bad weather the last weeks it’s no longer possible to do the Big Air contest at Vikafjellet that was planned for Wednesday 29th of June. 

After the latest check on the places where the arena was planned, it’s not enouch snow to make the features that was planned and for maintaining the safety of the athletes.

Big Air session at Folgefonna

Some of the invited riders will instead have a Big Air Session at the summer-skicentre Folgefonna three hours from Voss.  Feel free to come and enjoy the stunts at Folgefonna instead.

Changes in Horgi ned

The lack of snow will also have consequences for the multisport competition Horgi ned. The skiing part of the competition is cancelled. Besides from this, the competition will be arranged as planned monday 27th of June.
