Biketrial at Ekstremsportveko 2011!

We´re happy to announce that we´ll host two Biketrial competitions during Ekstremsportveko 2011!

In the centre of Voss there will be a Speedtrial competition. This means two competitors riding against each other in an identical parallel obstacle course. This is a spectator friendly head2head competition where the last one standing is the overall champion . This is a contest where man-made obstacles are added to give the competition a bit more high speed and excitement.

Usually, Biketrial competitions are held in more natural surroundings with all kinds of natural obstacles. Thus, additionally to the Speedtrial competition there will be a Biketrial competition as well. The competition will be divided in different sections that the competitors must ride through within a certain time frame. The winner of this competition is the rider with the fewest touches on the ground with their feet or other body parts. This is the true nature of Biketrial and in the spirit of Ekstremsportveko, the participants challenge the wild, beautiful and exotic nature.
