Kayaking Thursday is moved to Mjølfjell

The Brandseth Downhill and Team Race competitions have been moved to upper Raundalen, next to Mjølfjell Youth Hostel (Mjølfjell Ungdomsherberge) due to low water level in the Brandseth river. For the athletes there will be a mandatory training from 9-11am, before the start at 11.30.

Ekstremsportveko would like to thank all the land owners in Ulvik municipality for letting us host this competition on their land.

 

For the audience we encourage transportation by train. The train leaves from Voss train station at 9.58am. Take the train to Ørneberg station. From there you can walk down to the youth hostel. The returning train leaves at 14.58pm. When you buy a one way ticket from Voss Station you will get the returning ticket for free = half price! Estimated time is 40 minutes with the train and 1,5 hours by car.

 

Road description by car:

From the centre of Voss follow RV 13 to the green Kiwi store by Palmafossen. Drive towards Bømoen and follow Raundalsveien for approximately 40 km until you arrive Mjølfjell Youth Hostel. Park there and walk five minutes to the starting point!
