NEW INFO BASE!

All base jumpers please read this information . . . .

IMPORTANT INFO: TO ALL BASE jumpers at Veko 2010 - there will be NO jumping from Nebbet or Kammen this year. Due to a huge rock avalanche earlier this month the conditions are unstable at Nebbet, and the exit "Sparkling" will be used instead. NB! The same landing will be used, as a spectator this means no changes. It´s still in Gudvangen. 

"Sparkling" is situated approximately 1000 m east as the crow flies from Nebbet. The geologists and Aurdal Kommune has posted a warning, and do not recommend anyone to hike up Hallingrovi. 

There was an information meeting Tuesday the 29th of June where the jumpers got briefed on the technical and practical conditions about the exit "Sparkling Dimond Falls". If you need any information about this, please contact head of BASE, Joakim Sommer + 47 47 924 92. 

The helicopter boogie is scheduled for Friday the 2nd of July.

Please note: 
In order to participate in the helicopter boogie you need at least 20 slider-up BASE-jumps. Everyone is responsible for their own experience and safety and the crew will take action if they have doubts about your experience.





First-timers with wing suits are not allowed. You need at least 10 BASE-jumps with wing suit. The participants must organize their own transportation and departures are from Bømoen.

This year we’ll be a part of the World Base Race! Come and watch some of the worlds most talented wing suit jumpers preform in Gudvangen!  The final will be on Friday the 2nd of July. So this will definitely be the best day to visit Gudvangen and watch the base jumpers.
