Join the Amnesty relay Friday 25th June

Once more Ekstremsportveko and Amnesty International join forces to gain focus on injustice as well as kicking off Veko!

It has become a tradition for Ekstremsportveko to team up with Amnesty International for an extreme sport relay extravaganza Friday before kick-off. Hangglider boss and initiater Jon Gjerde says this about the event:
- Some places in the world the most extreme sport to be participating in is the fight against injustice. Those who dare critisise their government for breach of human rights, risk ending up in imprisonment.
General secretary of Amnesty Norway will be present at Voss as will athletes from rafting, skiing, longboarding, paragliding and hanggliding. The relay batons are finally handed in at Gjerde where Egenæs will be revealing the messages hidden in the batons.
